In the somber 'School Ties,' Fraser, who attended boarding school in Toronto, plays a quarter-back on scholarship to an elite prep school in the Fifties. The team is torn apart when it discovers that Frasers' character, David Greene, the hero who led it to victory, is Jewish. "I don't want to give away the whole movie, but David is forced to acknowledge his roots, and there is a bittersweet ending," says Fraser. "At least, I believe it's a bittersweet ending. We shot several. I'm not really sure how it ends."
